This is the American Big Band standard <em>Take the A Train<\/em>, written by Billy Strayhorn, who was the principal arranger for composer-bandleader-pianist Duke Ellington for many years. Not surprisingly, Dyens&#8217; take on the song manages to be faithful to the original while also turning it inside out and adding some wonderful touches. It was a huge hit for Ellington.
