He certainly made <em>me<\/em> a believer at that GFA\u2014and, of course, he will be on hand at this year&#8217;s GFA convention in Miami in June.<\/p>\n<p>Here is a video that the good folks at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.siccasguitars.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Siccas Guitars <\/a>posted in December 2018, featuring\u00a0Rapha\u00ebl in a splendid performance of the first movement\u2014dubbed &#8216;Sinfonia&#8217;\u2014of Bach&#8217;s <em>Partita No. 2<\/em> for keyboard, BWV 826, long popular with classical pianists. This wonderful solo guitar version was arranged by fellow Frenchman <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tristanmanoukian.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tristan Manoukian<\/a>, who is a popular guitarist himself, as well as one the country&#8217;s leading guitar teachers. His arrangement of the piece (as well as many others Manoukian has done) is available from <a href=\"https:\/\/productionsdoz.com\/product\/1038-partita-bwv-826\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Les Productions d&#8217;Oz<\/a>, and\u00a0 Rapha\u00ebl&#8217;s recorded version appears on his 2018 <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2PLFMcS\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Guitar Recital<\/em> <\/a>album.
