Bream will always be regarded as one of the finest and most influential players ever, an artist with incomparable tone, fantastic technique, incredibly broad taste in repertoire, old and new\u2014and a truly lovely human being who was widely adored. And don&#8217;t forget, too, that Bream was largely responsible for the 20th century popularity of the lute, as well!
