Originally from Berlin, Endrikat has studied in both Europe and the U.S. with a number of distinguished teachers (including Dale Kavanagh, Eli Kassner, Benjamin Verdery, and Thomas Kirschoff) and performed extensively as both a soloist and chamber musician. The CD features works by J.S. Bach, Isaac Albeniz, Lennox Berkeley, Alexandre Tansman, and the composer of this piece\u2014the oft-recorded &#8220;La Catedral&#8221; by Agustin Barrios.
