Vincent Moran, inspired us to go digging for cool performances of some of Morel&#8217;s compositions. Here&#8217;s a fantastic version of perhaps his best-known piece, &#8220;Danza Brasilera,&#8221; played by <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.losangelesguitarist.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Tavi Jinariu<\/a><\/strong> on a 2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reynosoguitars.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Richard Reynoso<\/strong> <\/a>guitar in the showroom of <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.guitarsalon.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Guitar Salon International<\/a><\/strong> in Santa Monica, California, in 2013.<\/p>\n<p>Based in Southern California, Jinariu, was born and raised in Romania&#8217;s Carpathian Mountains, the son of Gypsy musician parents. He took up the guitar at a young age, and his proficiency on the instrument eventually earned him a scholarship that enabled him to study in the L.A. area with Christopher Parkening (and also John Nelson) on his way to a degree. He won numerous competitions and has played extensively in the United States and Europe. He also teaches at The Master&#8217;s College in Santa Clarita, Calif. \u00a0 A studio version of &#8220;Danza Brasilera&#8221; appears on Jinariu&#8217;s 2014 CD <em><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/1Pe5oqr\" target=\"_blank\">Reflections Along the Way<\/a><\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The recent release of the new e-book biography Jorge Morel: The Remarkable Journey of a Legendary Guitarist\/Composer, by J.
