Bach&#8217;s &#8220;Partita No. 2,&#8221; BWV 826, originally written for violin, but played in this clip on a wonderful-sounding 1935 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hauserguitars.de\/english\/docs\/geschichte.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Hermann Hauser I <\/a>guitar, which is one piece of the famous Russell Cleveland Collection currently being sold individually by the good folks at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.guitarsalon.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Guitar Salon International<\/a>.\u00a0You may recall that we were blown away by Marc when he played the premiere of Clarice Assad&#8217;s\u00a0new concerto for guitar,\u00a0<em>O Saci-Perer\u00ea,<\/em>\u00a0at the Biasini Festival in San Francisco in January.<\/p>\n<p>And no, it has not escaped our notice that yesterday (March 21) was Bach&#8217;s 331st birthday.
