A student at Orange County High School for the Arts in southern California, she also plays in the Farber Duo with her sister Haley.<\/p>\n<p>In this video, Farber\u2014just 14 at the time\u2014turns in a fine performance of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.joaquin-rodrigo.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Joaqu\u00edn Rodrigo<\/a>\u2019s challenging <em>Tiento Antiguo<\/em>, which was debuted in 1942 by Spanish guitarist Regino Sa\u00ednz de la Maza (who had premiered the <em>Concierto de Aranjuez<\/em> two years earlier). Farber plays a 1999 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bottelliguitars.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Enrico Bottelli <\/a>spruce-top guitar; the video was shot by\/at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.guitarsalon.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Guitar Salon International<\/a> in Santa Monica, California.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It\u2019s always exciting to come across genuinely talented young players.
