That is home base for an excellent 29-year-old guitarist named <a href=\"http:\/\/urosbaric.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Uros Baric<\/a>, who was, frankly, new to us, but apparently <em>not<\/em> new to many people around the world: His website claims to have passed one million visits; impressive!<\/p>\n<p>This nicely shot video has Uros playing two Christmas nuggets: <em>The Christmas Song<\/em> (probably more often referred to by its famous opening line, &#8220;Chestnuts roasting on an open fire&#8230;&#8221;) dates back to 1944 and was written by the great American singer Mel&nbsp;Torm\u00e9 (nicknamed &#8220;The Velvet Fog&#8221; for his ultra-smooth voice) along with his collaborator during that era, Robert Wells. Baric&#8217;s interpretation brings out the tenderness of the tune beautifully. Then he quickly switches gears for a brief uptempo romp through &#8220;Let It Snow,&#8221; another mid-1940s composition, this one written by Sammy Cahn and Jule Style.<\/p>\n<p>Besides being a prize-winning classical guitarist and guitar teacher, Baric also operates his own video and recording studio, where he he has produced many projects.
