At 13, she became the youngest student to attend the Academy of Music at Zagreb. Vidovic has studied with such musicians as Istvan Romer and Manuel Barrueco, and won first prizes in the Albert Augustine International Competition in Bath, England, and the Fernando Sor competition in Rome, Italy.<\/p>\n<p>Here she is performing Fernando Sor\u2019s \u201cIntroduction and Variations on a Theme by Mozart\u201d last year at Marylhurst University in Oregon.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Croatian guitarist Ana Vidovic celebrates her 34th birthday on November 8.
