The <em>Fandanguillo<\/em> heard here was part one of Torroba&#8217;s <em>Suite Castellana, <\/em>written in 1926 and presented to Segovia, who recorded <em>Fandanguillo<\/em> for the first time in 1928 (but never the entire suite\u2014not unusual for Segovia who picked and chose the movements he liked best, by everyone from Bach to Sor to Alb\u00e9niz).
