Duarte&#8217;s &#8216;Idylle Pour Ida&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Here&#8217;s a lovely piece that I hadn&#8217;t heard until it appeared on Cinzia Milani&#8217;s superb <em>A Tribute Ida Presti<\/em> album last fall: <em>Idylle pour Ida Presti<\/em> was written by the fine English composer\/guitarist\/scholar John W. Duarte (1919\u20132004), a friend of Presti&#8217;s, but written long after her death; it&#8217;s his Op. 93, published in 1982 (and available as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sheetmusicplus.com\/title\/idylle-pour-ida-guitar-sheet-music\/5523291\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sheet music<\/a>).
