{"id":975,"date":"2015-02-05T15:07:56","date_gmt":"2015-02-05T23:07:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/classicalguitarmagazine.com\/?p=975"},"modified":"2015-02-05T15:14:34","modified_gmt":"2015-02-05T23:14:34","slug":"new-cordoba-guitars-introduced-at-namm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/classicalguitarmagazine.com\/new-cordoba-guitars-introduced-at-namm\/","title":{"rendered":"New C\u00f3rdoba Guitars Introduced at NAMM"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If you\u2019ve ever been to a NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) convention in Anaheim, California, you know that it is an overwhelming and thoroughly cacophonous mega-gathering in which thousands upon thousands of musicians of every stripe, musical instrument manufacturers and retailers, educators, members of the press, and assorted fanatics who crawl out of the woodwork from who-knows-where, get together and go from booth to crowded booth plucking, strumming, bowing, blowing, and beating everything in sight. Pity the poor classical-guitar makers, who have to compete with screaming electric guitars being played through amplifiers turned up to \u201c11\u201d and an overall ambient noise level that can make ears bleed.<\/p>\n<p>Nevertheless, NAMM is always an important showcase for classical-guitar (and strings) makers and sellers, with a number of companies introducing new models. At the latest NAMM confab, Jan. 22-25, 2015, C\u00f3rdoba Guitars unveiled several appealing new offerings.
